Duquesne Beer is presenting the 20th Birthday Party for Pittsburgh Cares with the Hank Williams Tribute Show – featuring Slim Forsythe – on Friday, September 21. Beginning at 7:00pm at the Lawrenceville Moose, the lineup for the night includes Slim Forsythe & his New Payday Loners, the Beagle Brothers, the Armadillos, the Mavens, the Stillhouse Pickers, Molly Alphabet & her Country String Band, the Iron City Slickers, the Damaged Pies and more. All the acts will be performing their own, unique versions of Hank Williams’ songs – think Hank’s I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry, Move It On Over, Honky Tonk Blues, Cheatin’ Heart, etc. – all night long, with proceeds from ticket sales and other fundraising activities going directly to Pittsburgh Cares, a non-profit volunteer organization that matches up the people who want to help with the people and organizations who need the help.
